Lobster Up

Growing up on the coast for about of my life, eating fresh lobster has been something I always enjoyed. Whether it was ordering it at a high class restaurant, or picking them up alive at a fish market and boiling them that night. So I have never had an issue with the practice of boiling lobsters alive. And while I understand why some people may have concerns I think there are several reasons why people remain to eat lobster.

One being the fact that it has been done for so many years, people are just used to it. It's almost like a tradition for many families having big lobster nights and parties. I also think people in todays age care about an animal that is more obscure and mysterious to them. It has never been proven that lobsters have the same pain capacity as human, or if it is even similar. So for those reasons I feel that many people will continue to eat fresh lobsters.
