Research, Research, Research

As I read through this chapter I was keeping mental notes and highlighting the things I believe to be beneficial for the upcoming proposal and paper. Things like making a list when brainstorming and just asking friends and classmates about your topic are simple, easy, and do able. Also another point that resonates with me is to ask myself if I “like the topic enough to stick with it”. I have done research projects in the past on topics that I just simply did not care about enough to keep me interested and put forth the effort I should have. I think a good way for me to achieve this is by doing a solid round of preliminary research. If I am able to find a topic I am curious and have some interest in not only will I be more willing to do more work for it, my writing will be much better and more energized. The last thing that I read is something I do not usually do but will be from now on, a working bibliography. Several times in the past i will just use a source then lose it and have to dig and waste time finding the source again so I can document and cite it.
